The Vernissage will comprise of artist's presentations, plays
and performances.
On the following days, Saturday, 7th
of February and Sunday 8th, 09.00 - 17.30 we will
be holding a related conference at the Payom room of the Amari Hotel
"Debating the Politics of Culture, Identity and Globalisation"
comprising of a contentious debate "Different kinds of globalization?
What kind?" (09.00-12.00)
the symposium "Cultural Dimensions of Globalisation" with artists
and art critics (13.30-17.30)
On the 2nd day, Sunday, 8th
February the conference will continue with a session
"Dismantling Identity Politics" (09.0012.00) and two parallel
focus workshops, one on
"Religious Fundamentalisms"
and the other on
"National Identity Construction and its ramifications in Mainland
South East Asia" (14.00-17.30)

พร้อมกันนั้น ในวันเสาร์ที่ 7 และอาทิตย์ที่
8 กุมภาพันธ์ 2547 ระหว่างเวลา 09:00 – 17.30 น. จะได้จัดให้มีเวทีสัมมนาที่ห้องพยอม
โรงแรมอมาริรินคำในหัวข้อ
“วิพากษ์การเมืองเรื่องวัฒนธรรม อัตลักษณ์และโลกาภิวัตน์”
โดยในวันที่ 7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2547 เป็นการอภิปรายเชิงลึกในเรื่อง “โลกาภิวัตน์ในรูปแบบต่างๆ
? แล้วอะไรคือรูปแบบที่เราต้องการ?” (เวลา 9.00-12.00 น.)
การสัมมนาเชิงวิชาการเรื่อง “มิติด้านวัฒนธรรมกับโลกาภิวัตน์” (เวลา
13.30-17.30 น.)
ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ 2547
จะเป็นการประชุมต่อเนื่องในหัวข้อ
“เบื้องลึกการเมืองว่าด้วยอัตลักษณ์” (เวลา 9.00 –12.00 น.) และการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการพร้อมกันในสองเรื่อง
เรื่องแรกว่าด้วย “กลุ่มศาสนาที่ติดยึดกับคัมภีร์” และเรื่องที่สองว่าด้วย
“การสร้างสรรค์อัตลักษณ์แห่งชาติและผลกระทบต่อประเทศต่างๆ ในเอเชียอาคเนย์”
(เวลา 14.00 –17.30 น.)
